Declaring Kashmiri groups as terrorist outfits unjustifiable : Pak | KNO

Pakistan on Thursday said “declaring organizations or groups supporting freedom struggle in Kashmir as terrorist outfits is unjustifiable”.

This was stated by Pak Foreign Office Spokesperson during his weekly news briefing in Islamabad.

The Spokesperson said “Pakistan is disappointed with the decision of United States to designate Hizb-ul-Mujahideen as a terrorist outfit.”

He said “the whole world stands witness to the unlawful occupation of Kashmir by Indian Forces and inhuman treatment faced by Kashmiris at the hands of Indian forces.”

He said “it is India, which is to be held responsible for the continuous bloodshed in the held valley.”

The Spokesman said “killing and illegal detentions of Kashmiri youth and Hurriyet leaders, rape of women and other atrocities meted out by Indian Forces in the valley should immediately be ended and negotiated solution sought for the problem.”

Responding to a question regarding Indian Prime Minister`s statement Nafees Zakaria said “the statement endorses Pakistan` stance that bloodshed will only aggravate the situation in Kashmir”.

He reiterated Pakistan`s resolve to continue its moral, diplomatic and political support to Kashmiri people`s struggle for archival of their just right of self determination.
